ARM awarded Top Employer 2014
30 August 2013
African Rainbow Minerals Limited has once again received the prestigious certification as a Top Employer in South Africa.
The Top Employers Institute has completed this year’s research into the employee conditions of a large number of employers in South Africa. Last night in the formal awards ceremony ARM was announced for the third year running a Top Employer to work for.
The Top Employers Institute globally certifies excellence in the conditions that employers create for their people. Optimal employee conditions ensure that people develop themselves personally and professionally. This in turn enables companies to grow and to develop. The certification programme is the result of months of rigorous research and its findings are independently audited by Grant Thornton. This year there was an overall increase in certified participants’ scores, which indicates that HR in the country’s top employers is a strategic business lever.
HR Manager, Zandile Moseke attended the event to receive the award on behalf of ARM.
As part of the MAPP (Managing ARM’s People Potential) Project ARM does continuously strive to improve the Human Resources experience, understanding that employees are key to business success.
Underpinning the various MAPP Projects is the creation of Employee Value. Employee value is an encompassing term which includes benefits, talent management, performance management, remuneration, career development and everything which impacts an employee’s experience.
While we continue to achieve top employer status we know that constant development and innovation is what keeps ARM a top employer in the war for talent. The MAPP team along with all HR Departments across ARM’s operations strive to do it better.
With continuous support from our staff we have confidence that ARM will grow form strength to strength in delivering great employee conditions and benefits across all our operations and functions.
Congratulations to all HR staff on achieving this award, keep up the innovation.
